PLANNING COMMISSION
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2009 @ 5:30 PM AT CITY HALL
1. Consideration of Sale Lot #2, 3.47 acres in the Owen Commercial Park for development of the O-W Travel Center by Deeanne and Jerry Wells.
2. Discussion and action on formulating a recommendation to the Common Council to amend the City of Owen Zoning Map by designating permanent zoning districts for territory recently annexed to the City and detached from the Towns of Green Grove and Hoard.:
(1) All that part of Lot 1 of Certified Survey Map # 915, being a portion of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 31, Township 29 North, Range 1 West, City of Owen, except for that part thereof currently zoned R-1; and Lot 2 of Certified Survey Map # 915, consisting of approximately 93.544 acres, located in the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 and the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 and the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 31, Township 29 North, Range 1 West, City of Owen--proposed zoning: Residential R-1.
(2) Lot 1 of Certified Survey Map # 1395, consisting of approximately 37.99 acres, located in the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 and the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 31, Township 29 North, Range 1 West, City of Owen--proposed zoning: Commercial C-2.
(3) Certified Survey Map # 1779, consisting of approximately 70.88 acres, located in the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4, the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4, the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4, the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4, the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 and the SW 1/4 of teh NE 1/4 of Section 5, Township 28 North, Range 1 West, City of Owen; and Lot 1 of Certified Survey Map # 1791, consisting of approximately 58.15 acres, located in the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4, the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 and the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 5, Township 28 North, Range 1 West, City of Owen -- proposed zoning: Agricultural Business AB.
