Meeting Minutes
June 29, 2010
The Committee Meeting was called to order by Chairperson Carla Riihinen at 5:05 pm. Cardinal served as secretary. Members in attendance were Riihinen, Cardinal and Poirier.
Shane Sutheimer was also in attendance.
Cardinal made a motion to convene into closed session under WI S.S. 19.85 (1)(f) considering financial, medical, social, or personal histories or disciplinary date of specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where para. (b) applies, which if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations. Riihinen seconded the motion. The meeting went into closed session at 5:06 pm.
Riihinen made a motion to reconvene into open session. Poirier seconded the motion. The meeting came back into open session at 5:58 pm.
Poirier made a motion to recommend to the Common Council that they do not allow Shane Sutheimer to hold either a liquor license or operator’s license in the City of Owen based upon his past history. Cardinal seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Riihinen made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Poirier. The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 pm.
